Islay Single Malt 27 yo 1992 (48,5%, Whisky Sponge 2020, refill barrel, 293 btl.) Single Casks Smögen . 2009 bestämde sej advokaten Pär Caldenby att börja tillverka maltwhisky vid Smögen. Han hade redan 1991 stött på maltwhisky för första gången, fastnat i det och blivit så intresserad att han skrev en bok om detta – Enjoying Malt Whisky.

Smögen Whisky fokuserar på hög kvalitet i små batcher, med helt och hållet manuell tillverkning och direkt övervakning. Företaget grundades av Pär Caldenby, som är advokat. Han grundlade redan i 20-årsåldern ett starkt intresse för maltwhisky. Pär gav gav 2006 ut boken Enjoying Malt Whisky, som kom i en andra upplaga hösten 2007.

Ett literpris på drygt 2 500 kronor avskräckte inte entusiasterna. A whisky label with a nod to our dear Magritte, lovely.
